This is an image that most comes to my mind when I think about men and infertility and reproductive trauma. How they hold us, let us cry, pick us up, keep us going. And yet, I know it’s more than just them taking care of us, I know they hurt and grieve too, even if it often looks different than the way women typically do (for my husband, it looked a lot like mowing the lawn). Thinking of all the fathers out there today, those who have their baby(ies), those who don’t, those who are waiting, waiting. I say to you what I say to women every day: Keep going. You are going to get there, and it’s going to be worth all of it. I am with you. And my husband is mowing with you.
